Creattura Co., Ltd (Representative Director and CEO: Tomomichi Hattori; hereinafter "Creattura") and Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. To realize a disaster-resilient and sustainable society, Gunma Prefecture has established the "Gunma 5 Zero Declaration." With goals such as zero greenhouse gas emissions and zero power outages during disasters, the prefecture is advancing various initiatives, including expanding the use of renewable energy and promoting energy conservation.

Through this Agreement, we will integrate J-Credit creation activities into Gunma Prefecture's decarbonization policies to promote the construction of a "Gunma Environmental Value Circulation Model." Specifically, we will begin by creating J-Credts from LED lighting upgrades in prefectural facilities. With a future view toward expanding this to municipalities and businesses within the prefecture, we aim to create a virtuous cycle where the environmental value generated by regional greenhouse gas emission reductions is reinvested into new decarbonization efforts.

In concluding this Agreement, Gunma Prefecture highly evaluated the potential for streamlining application procedures by combining AI technology with "Lynx Connect,"Note 2 a proprietary system developed by Creattura that visualizes the sources of J-Credit creation, as well as the feasibility of achieving "local production for local consumption" of environmental value and its widespread adoption across the prefecture by leveraging both companies' extensive corporate networks.

Creattura and Tokyo Gas have previously collaborated on J-Credit creationNote 3. By leveraging their respective expertise in energy and decarbonization, as well as their know-how in creating and utilizing J-Credits, both companies will contribute to the formation of a sustainable decarbonized society by building effective mechanisms that transform regional decarbonization activities into environmental value.

[Overview of Agreement Initiatives]

- Establish a mechanism to create and utilize environmental value based on the J-Credit system, derived from greenhouse gas emission reductions achieved through initiatives such as upgrading lighting equipment to LEDs in prefectural facilities and installing solar power generation equipment.

- Through mutual cooperation between Gunma Prefecture and both companies, effectively utilize the created J-Credits to achieve both the promotion of decarbonization and fiscal benefits, while contributing to the formation of a sustainable decarbonized society.
